Celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month 2021

In May 2021, CAPA, along with several other groups, banded together to host an art contest to celebrate that year's Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month.

They ended up receiving entries from over 170 Montgomery County Public School students of all varying ages. Three winners and honorable mentions were chosen from each age division.

The purpose of the contest was to reaffirm that Asians Americans and Pacific Islanders are not just "foreigners" and that this is our country too.
